"Check It Out!" Bookmarks CLICK here to view it! (and for more information)
Parent to Parent has recently been awarded several grants by local foundations to expand and maintain its outreach efforts to communities across Vermont.  The project is called The Connections Initiative, and is a multi-faceted approach to expanding the organization's quarterly newsletter, improving the website, enhancing office technology, and designing and distributing bookmarks.  In an effort to bolster our lending library and help communities develop better resources, the grant money will enable Parent to Parent to produce "Check it Out" bookmarks, which will feature recommended reading on special needs topics such as specific diagnoses, family relationships, coping, inspiration, and advocacy.  Bookmarks will be distributed along with expanded bibliographies to over 200 public libraries, 38 bookstores, and 40 pediatric practices throughout the state.  The Initiative is made possible by the generosity of The Agnes M. Lindsay Trust, The Kelsey Trust, The John LeClair Foundation, and The Lintilhac Foundation, Inc. ©
