Family Support Fund

This fund is to be used by families who self-identify a need related to their child’s diagnosis. It can be used for equipment, therapies, emergency childcare, camp, or any other need as it relates to the child’s diagnosis and is not otherwise covered by insurance or Medicaid.  We do not ask any personal financial information, but trust the judgment of the family that if the parent is asking, that there is financial need.

Please request the full amount that you need, but please understand that $100 is typically funded. If the amount needed is substantially more than $100, please specify how the additional funds will be raised. As we receive many requests and have limited funding, we ask that parents limit their requests to one time per calendar year.  Emergency exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.

To apply, send us a letter specifying how much you are requesting, what the money will be used for, how it will benefit the child with the special need, where else you’ve looked and how additional money will be raised, if necessary.
