Green Mountain Family Support 360 Implementation will build a regional capacity to deliver comprehensive, flexible, coordinated supports for families (especially for parents with developmental disabilities) to strengthen the family's ability to care for their children safely at home. Parents with developmental disabilities face numerous challenges, one of the most devastating being the loss of custody of their children. The project will provide each Agency of Human Services (AHS) District in Vermont with a part-time Family Resource Specialist who will support parents with disabilities statewide.

Family Support 360 is an initiative from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (DHHS) Administration for Children & Families (ACF) and Administration on Developmental Disabilities (ADD). Through this effort, ADD has provided planning and implementation grants to local service providers nationwide to create one-stop centers to assist the families of those with developmental disabilities (DD).
