Parent
to Parent Donation Options:
Maximize your gift by letting us know if your employer offers a matching
gift program. Many companies offer this opportunity to
encourage
employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these
programs
match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even contribute
more.
If your employer offers this benefit, you should request a matching
gift
form and submit it to Parent to Parent along with your donation.
Make the donation process more efficient by setting up an electronic
funds transfer (EFT) on a monthly (or other) basis. To arrange an
EFT,
you will need only to contact your bank once to designate the monthly
amount
and the specific date of the month on which you'd like the transfer to
occur. [You will first need to contact Parent to Parent to obtain our
account
information so your bank can complete the transaction between our
accounts.]
Or you can now make these periodic donations through Network
for Good. Either
process is as easy as paying your monthly utility bill or health club
membership
without having to write a check.

What
Can YOUR Gift Do?
$350 Sponsors one Parent Evening in any VT community.
Parent Evenings are informal gatherings for parents of children with
special needs. Parents get together, talk, share stories and network
with one another. Funds underwrite the event and provide childcare and
travel stipends for families.
Would you like to sponsor a Parent
Evening in YOUR area?
$250 Sponsors one Sibshop in any VT community.
Sibshops are fun workshops where siblings of children with special
needs are able to get together, play some games, talk and connect with
one another.
Would you like to sponsor a SibShop
in YOUR community?
$100 Trains one Supporting Family.
Supporting Families are trained and matched with other families with
children with special needs. They listen, serve as a resource, and
share in their supported family's successes and challenges.
These matches are the heart of our programs.
$25 Provides one Family Care Notebook.
Care notebooks help families track the many details that must be
monitored with regard to their child's medical care: doctors,
aides, insurance, Medicaid, support groups, resources, and other
critical information. An invaluable tool at the hospital.
$____ Provides Core Support for our organization.
Donations to our Core Support help underwrite all of Parent to Parent
of Vermont's many programs and enable us to address emerging community
needs.
