Supporting Parent Trainings Meet other parents of children with special needs, as well as staff from Parent to Parent of Vermont for a fun and informal training to become a Supporting Parent in our network. Once trained, Supporting Parents may be called on to participate in our 1:1 Phone Peer Match program to offer support and resources to parents in new situations for which you may have experience. There is never an obligation. You will also learn about other opportunities to be involved in Parent to Parent, such as the Family Faculty Program, Parent Panel opportunities at UVM, Sibshops, Fundraisers, as well as other fun opportunities to connect with other families.
