How do we use our database and the information shared with us? We want you to know that we value the input you give us throughout the year. We talk with you by phone, meet you when you stop in, interact with you at meetings, sit beside you on committees, learn with you at trainings and workshops, meet you at community activities, and read the program evaluations you fill out. We are committed to use the information we learn from you to keep Parent to Parent responsive to the needs and concerns of families throughout the state. With the help of a wonderful parent volunteer and many hours of staff time, we have worked hard during the past couple of years to develop a database to give us accurate information for program planning and reporting purposes. For example, over the past years parents have often asked us about support groups. That has become part of our program planning. We write reports on all grant money received and we write grants for new funding to insure that programs will continue. We count numbers of phone calls around particular issues and try to identify themes that recur over time. We share this type of information with our partners (see collaboration) as we are always looking for ways to coordinate our efforts around the state. We thank you for all of the feedback you give us and want to reiterate our commitment to using this information for the benefit of all of us. Please help us keep our database accurate and updated by calling when you have changes to your personal information. Y
