Family Support...
the foundation of Parent to Parent’s mission and the primary reason family members call Parent to Parent.
Family Support Coordinators respond to phone calls and match families with trained parent volunteers so they can share information and resources, and get the emotional support they need to break free of their isolation. Our coordinators are trained to respond to a variety of needs, depending on whether a parent is calling at the early stages of their child’s diagnosis, throughout the journey of adjustment to the dynamics a special need brings to the family, or during transitions, crisis situations, and celebrations for the family.
